Lotto
Lotto is by far Finland's most played gambling game. Every round of Lotto makes Finns aim for millions.
Playing the lottery is easy: The intention is to guess correctly between the seven digits 1-39. The more numbers you get right, the more you win.
The lottery draw takes place every Saturday at 22:15. Seven actual and two additional numbers will be drawn in the draw.
In lottery numbers, guessing correctly wins most often in the following way (see the exact winnings of the latest Lottery Round above):
- 7 properly: Jackpot
- 6+1 properly: n. 50 000 euros
- 6 properly: n. 2000 euros
- 5 properly: n. 50 euros
- 4 properly: 10 euros
If no one wins the main win, is the bigger main win in the next round. If the pot is not won for weeks, the main profit increases as it grows.
Joker
The joker is played three rounds a week: on Wednesdays, on Fridays and Saturdays.
A seven-digit line is selected in the joker, where the numbers are in between 0-9. So that the number is correct, it must be in the correct place on the wildcard line.
The joker’s winning categories and most common wins are:
- 7 properly: Jackpot
- 6 properly: 20 000€
- 5 properly: 500 €
- 4 properly: 50 €
- 3 properly: 6 €
- 2 properly: 3 €
On Saturdays, the Joker draw is in connection with the lottery draw. On Wednesdays, the Joker is drawn at 20:25. Friday's draw is in connection with the Eurojackpot draw.
Viking Lotto
Viking Lotto is a pan-Nordic game, whose payline is drawn on Wednesdays. Viking Lotto works like a normal Lotto, but the line is selected 6 numbers in between 1-48.
The Viking Lotto lottery is on Wednesdays at 20:25. The draw draws 6 the actual winning number and 2 additional number.
In the Viking Lotto, as in the normal Lotto, you can play extra rounds every round (VikingPlus) at an additional cost.
The normal payout categories as well as the Viking Plus payout categories and their regular winnings are:

Viking Lotto has a bigger main win, if the Lucky Number drawn before the actual draw hits the payline. When the lucky number hits, the main profit is several million euros. The lucky number is usually not in the actual line.
Eurojackpot
Eurojackpot is a European game, whose payline is drawn on Fridays. It works like a lottery, but there are five numbers in between 1-50 and two star numbers (that is, an additional number) between 1-10. The draw will take place late Friday night.

EuroJackpot's main win grows from week to week, but at its greatest it is 90 000 000 euros. The main win is at least 10 000 000 euros. The pot is distributed four times a year i.e. 13 every week. If there is no main win for such a period, 13. in the round, the share of the main win is divided into lower profit categories.
Eurojackpot Joker
The Joker Game played in Vikinglotto can also be played in the Eurojackpot. This game is often called a “Friday joker”, while the Vikingloto game is called ‘Wednesday Joker’.
The game is played by selecting a series of numbers 0-9 between. The same numbers can be dialed more than once.
You win by dialing the right numbers, corresponding to randomly drawn Joker numbers in the same order.
The game is played separately in each participating country, in which case each country has its own Joker Number Series, and they pay their own profits.
In addition to the Eurojackpot, you can play a joker in Finland, In Iceland and Latvia. In other countries, as in Norway, In Sweden and Denmark, The Joker is played alongside Vikingloto, but it cannot be played alongside the Eurojackpot.

Interesting information
The first Eurojackpot draw was conducted 23.3.2012 between the seven participating countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Slovenia. Poland joined in September 2017 and is the most recently joined country and 18. participating country.
There was no maximum amount in the main pot of the original game, but it could be carried over to the next round at most 12 consecutive times. However, this meant it, that the main pot never became huge, so the rule was changed 90 million in February 2013.

Eurojackpot probability and winnings

Pole, who won the Eurojackpot!
Day 10 May 2019 a historic event took place in the year. The Polish player set the record for winning the Eurojackpot in Poland. The Pole won 193 396 500 zlotys! More than 193 million zlotys resulted in, that we know few details. You know, that he played in the Łódź Province. Eurojackpot results: 5, 7, 15, 19, 29 and 3 i 8 he chose himself, although he plays randomly on a daily basis. The Pole plans to build a house and travel for the money from the win.

European numbers game from September 2017 in Poland
Such news was announced on 9 European Lottery Congress, which took place in June 2017 year in Krakow. The lowest guaranteed jackpot is 10 million euro, which is more than ever won in Lotto in Poland. The new game has become a huge competition for the domestic product, known since the 1950s.
Polish players will be able to take part in a game popular all over Europe from September 2017 year. Many people waited for such an opportunity and finally succeeded due to the amendment to the gambling act. Thus, Poland joins the ranks of a dozen other countries where lottery tickets are sold.

Slovenian Eurojackpot Tipper wins 21 Million Euros
At the European song contest it would have been called “Twelve points for Slovenia”. At Eurojackpot, the lottery of 14 European countries, brought the drawing on St. Nicholas Day 06.12.2013 fantastic 21 Million euros for a lucky guy from Slovenia. It's the first time in the 21 month- History of Eurojackpot, that the main prize goes to Slovenia. With the numbers 1-8-18-25-47 and the two euro numbers 2 and 7 a Slovenian conquered the winning class 1.
The 21.047.334,80 Euros are the ultimate profit event in the for around 20 Years of independent small republic between the Alps and the Adriatic, this is what the lottery company Loterija Slovenije in Ljubljana told WestLotto in Münster.
Profits
The Eurojackpot has 12 profit margin and are the same in all participating countries. You must have at least two numbers correctly and one Euro number or one main number and two Euro numbers correctly to win. The main pot wins if the seven numbers are correct.
Winnings are calculated on a pair-Mutuel basis, so they depend on the number of tickets sold and winners in each payout category. You can see from the table below, how the winnings are distributed and what is the probability of winning each winning category.

The booster fund is used to ensure, that main pot 10 a minimum amount of EUR 1 million is always payable. If the Effective Fund exceeds 20 million euros, the extra funds will be directed to the next draw.
The main pot begins 10 million and if no one wins you, it will be carried over to the next draw.
That is what will be done until then, until someone wins the maximum amount of it or the main pot 90 million is exceeded.
If it is not won when the pot reaches this amount, additional funds from game sales are added to the lower payout category, whose maximum amount is also 90 million euros.
