Moving on to the description of the national European lotteries:
La Primitiva Lottery - La Primitiva
La Primitiva is considered one of the oldest lotteries in the world. If you want to know more, read the article lottery history. Modern lottery history started in 1985 year. Like most modern lotteries, draws are held twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays.
La Primitiva is carried out as follows: drum first, which contains balls with numbers from one to forty-nine, the lottery drum selects seven balls - six main and an additional. Then another ball is selected - one of nine.
The probabilities of winning prizes of various categories are presented in the table below:

How are the draws?
Loteria Nacional draws today can take place in two ways: traditional and plural. Let's find out, how do they differ from each other.
#1 Traditional game
In traditional draws, two lottery drums are used: kegs in the first represent ticket numbers, who are winning in this draw, the second lottery drum contains barrels, whose numbers correspond to the prizes, indicated on a special board (exhibited on stage before the start of the event).
Mostly children participate in the drawing: they are the ones who first get one ball from the second lottery drum (thus determining the prize to be awarded), and then, one at a time, take out five barrels from the first lottery drum.
When drawing up the numbers of the barrels pulled from the first lottery drum in a row (the number of the first keg is put on the left, to the right of it - the number of the second barrel and so on until the end) the number of the winning ticket is formed.
Expect to win (its amount depends on the prize fund for a particular draw) maybe not only the owner of the "lucky" ticket: all coupons, which have the same first three digits, are also winning.
#2 Multiple game
Multiple play was first tried out over half a century ago (in 1962 year), and so far, some Loteria Nacional draws are held in this format.
What is the difference between the multiple game and the traditional?
The difference is in the number of lottery drums: if two containers with kegs are enough for a traditional game, then in the multiple game, five lottery drums are used. In each of the lottery drums - 9 barrels (numbered from 0 to 9). In the process of drawing, the kegs are taken one by one from the first, second, third, 4th and 5th lottery drum, after which the number of the winning ticket is formed.
Draw Winners, played in multiple play, are defined similarly to the traditional method.

Game features
Loteria Nacional has a number of distinctive features, which make it stand out among other similar games:
Time of the draw
Lottery draws are held twice a week (Thursday and Saturday). Interesting then, that the lottery does not have a clearly defined time for all draws. I.e, Thursday's draw takes place at 9:30 evenings, and Saturday game is in 1:20 days
You should pay attention to the fact, what is necessary to navigate by Eastern European time
The draw has two playing circles - the first and the second. Two wins are played in them.
Lottery ticket appearance
Each game ticket is divided into 10 fields. They are called tithes.
The price of one tenth of the ticket differs depending on the time of the drawing. The “tithe” of the lottery coupon for the game on Thursday will cost three euros, and for Saturday's draw - six.
To describe the ticket as simply as possible, then it looks like ten different tickets, united in one coupon. Why the founders created it exactly like this is unclear, because you can just sell one ticket and not complicate the game with "tithes".
Lottery ticket features
The player is given the opportunity to buy "tithe" (or several) from lottery ticket, not all of it. The ticket price is equal to the number of parts multiplied by the ticket price on a certain day of the game. For example, if the participant chose to buy 2 Tithes for the Saturday game, then he needs to pay 12 euros.
One single ticket has a specific serial number. How, then, to distinguish between "tithes", under the same number? "Tithes" have their own number - the number of the share. The serial number of the lottery ticket is composed of five numbers, located on top of the coupon.
Spanish lottery Loteria Nacional is also interesting for those, that tickets for each draw are not the same. The design team develops the appearance of the game ticket for each next game.

Restrictions for players
Lottery players cannot be less 18 years. By participating in draws, you are subject to the laws of your country of residence and the country of the lottery. You are welcome, don't break the law, this does not guarantee you the payment of prizes in the event of a winning ticket.
Part of the ticket purchased by one player (contribution, tithe or whole ticket) can only be claimed by the buyer. The winnings cannot be taken from him by another person.
If the purchased ticket turned out to be lucky and brought you a certain amount, you can receive funds only in that country, in which they were at the time of the drawing.

Chasing luck
- And it's only October! Borha complains in custody, lottery kiosk manager No. 67. - In December, people stand for three to four hours. We don't even close for lunch…
What's lunch there, even if during the civil war (1936–1939) the draws did not stop. IN 1938 year in the country, divided into two camps - ideologically and geographically, there were two "national" lotteries at once: alone in the camp of the Francoists, another in Republican territory.
Not all six hundred official lottery points of sale in Madrid are so popular., as item no. 67 under the unofficial name "Doña Manolita". The founder of the lottery booth Manuela de Pablo in 1904 year acquired a license and almost immediately "winning" fame.
- Over the past 100 years, we have sold the most lucky tickets. Here are their numbers on the wall, - proudly points Borja to an impressive column of almost 80 numbers. The last grand prize, Fat (which can be translated as "fat jackpot"), fell on the ticket, sold here in 2017.
Hard to say, how much luck in this glory. Doña Manolita was an extremely entrepreneurial woman for her time and became the first, who sent tickets by mail. Borha, her great-nephew, not lagging behind: develops lottery sales on the Internet, which in recent years have reached impressive volumes. What exactly, Borja supposedly does not know. At all, when it comes to numbers, he starts to get nervous, although it is known, that Doña Manolita sells almost half of the tickets for the Christmas raffle.
- It's not about numbers, this is luck, - moves away from Borch's answer. Behind him, a great-aunt smiles slyly from a huge poster.
Everyone has their own way of "talking" luck: eg, buy a number from numbers, coinciding with birthday or ending in 5, 7 or 13. But Borja, like most clients of Donja Manolita, does not want to see the number until the day of the draw. During the year, he periodically tortures fate in grandma's happy kiosk, but never won anything higher than the ticket price.
- It does not matter, - assures Borja. - If you buy a ticket in advance, you can dream all the time before the rally, what will you do, if you are lucky
Isn't it nice?
The organizer of the game - the State Administration of Lotteries and Gambling - took care of, so that the time of pleasant illusions is long enough. Christmas Raffle tickets retail in mid-July - mostly, for the convenience of tourists. Recently, more and more foreigners are buying the Spanish lottery in local resorts - a very tempting souvenir. In July and August, an airplane with an advertising slogan for the Christmas lottery flies over the country's crowded beaches: "But what if?»And indeed, you never know?
- If you sit back, you won't get anything for sure, but here you still do something for your happiness, - Borja says with conviction. This idea, amazing in its simplicity and genius, has never crossed my mind before.. But 20 euros for tenth I'm still sorry. And not me alone, that's why the Spaniards often play clubbing.
HISTORY World draw The word "lottery", presumably, goes back to Italian lotto - "share". Chinese game baige piao is considered the first lottery in the world, known already in the 1st century BC. eh. (its modern international version is called "keno"). According to the legend, money, proceeds from ticket sales, helped build the Great Wall of China. Lotteries were also known in ancient Rome. The official history of lottery in Europe dates back to the beginning of the 15th century.. IN 1530 year in Florence was established The Lotto of Florence - the first large-scale lottery, where the winnings were paid in cash. IN 1539 a similar lottery was established in France by King Francis I, and in 1567 - by Queen Elizabeth I in. England. In Russia, the first information about lotteries dates back to the era of Peter I. |

The Christmas lottery is the most popular Spanish draw. Loteria de Navidad exists since 1812 years and is one of the oldest lotteries in the world. Draws are held once a year, 22 December. It will depend on this, how much of the win will he get. If only one share is purchased, if you win in 1 000 000 a tenth of the prize can be taken away - 100 000 euros.

Conclusion
La Primitiva Lottery - Spanish national lottery with one of the largest prize pools in Europe. Twice a week, La Primitiva participants claim a super prize. And this is the minimum 3 million euros.
The advantage of the La Primitiva lottery is the high probability of getting a prize. With probability in 10% the ticket price will be refunded: it's enough luck with the Reintegro number. Well, if you can correctly name at least three kegs of six balls, dropped from the lottery drum, then the investment in the ticket will increase in 8 time.
Another plus of La Primitiva - simple rules of the game. In fact, this is a regular lottery "6 out of 49" - guess 6 kegs from 49 in the lottery machine and receive a prize. Moreover, the probability of winning is greater, than in the classic "6 out of 49", because there are numbers Complementario and Reintegro.
This concludes the manual for the Spanish national lottery La Primitiva. Despite, that this lotto is officially held only in Spain, residents of Russia have a chance to participate in it. We think, that lottery lovers should take part in La Primitiva - there are not only simple and clear rules of the game, but also honest organizers, as well as high chances of winning.
