Official name - Diversity Visa Lottery (visa diversity lottery).
Issued annually 50.000 visas for winners and their families( unmarried spouses and children before 21 of the year).
The number of winners from Belarus in different years ranges from 252 person in DV-1 before 1355 people in DV-2019.
You can apply for participation in DV-2020 during the period from 3 October 2018 years to 6 November 2018 of the year
Draw results will be available in May 2019.
Visas to winners of DV-2020 will begin to be issued in the period from October 2019 years to September 2020 inclusive.

Participation in the DV-2020 Green Card Lottery
Who can participate
To be granted a visa based on the winnings, the applicant needs:
- To be born in the country, which is admitted to participate in DV-2020( if your country of birth is not eligible for the draw, you can play from the spouse's country of birth(and) or your parents)
- At the time of obtaining a visa, have completed complete secondary school or an equivalent education or two years of work experience during the last 5 years by profession, requiring, at least, 2-x years of study or work experience to carry out this activity.
How to participate
On the official website https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ during the registration period, submit an online application in electronic form DS-5501, specifying all the necessary data and uploading digital photos no older 6 months according to official requirements.
In the application for participation, the applicant must provide biographical information:
- surname and first name
- full date of birth
- Place of Birth
- floor
- residence address
- select country, from which the application will be submitted
- indicate the level of education
- upload a digital photo in accordance with the requirements
With a spouse(and) and children up to 21 of the year (unmarried and not US citizens or permanent residents)
- their biographical information is indicated (FULL NAME, Date and place of birth)

Surname and First name - you need to write in accordance with the foreign passport. If the spelling of the surname and first name in the application and passport does not match, you may be disqualified when registering a win.

Rules for participation in the DV-2022 Green Card Lottery
Applications for participation in the DV lottery are accepted in electronic form on the website www.dvlottery.state.gov during October of the current year. Attention!
Only one application for participation in the lottery can be submitted from one green card applicant. If more than one application is received on behalf of one applicant (no matter, who submitted it), then the applicant will be disqualified
